Terms of Service

Last updated: May 1, 2026

These terms cover two distinct things: the open-source Watcher daemon you can run yourself, and the optional hosted plans we operate. The daemon is governed by its license; the hosted service is governed by the terms below.

The open-source daemon

The Watcher daemon is free and open-source software released under the AGPL-3.0 license. Your rights to use, modify, and redistribute the daemon are defined by that license. If anything in these terms appears to conflict with the license as it applies to the open-source daemon, the license governs.

Hosted plans

When you sign up for a hosted plan, we provide an always-on daemon and the supporting infrastructure to run it. Paid plans are billed in advance on the cadence shown at checkout. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future billing and access ends at the close of the paid period.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service except where an explicit uptime commitment is part of your plan. We may make reasonable changes to the hosted service and will give notice of material changes that affect you.

Your content and your keys

You retain all rights to the content you index and the wiki Watcher compiles from it. We claim no ownership over it. On hosted plans you grant us only the limited permission needed to store and process that content to operate the service for you.

You are responsible for the model provider credentials you supply and for any charges your usage incurs with those providers. Your keys are injected at runtime and never persisted, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the hosted service to:

  • Break the law or infringe the rights of others.
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
  • Resell or rebrand the hosted service without a written agreement.

We may suspend an account that materially violates these terms, with notice where practical.

No warranty

The software and the hosted service are provided on an as-is and as-available basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. You use Watcher at your own discretion and risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 3030 Labs LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the software or the hosted service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the hosted service in the twelve months before the claim.

Contact

These terms are provided by 3030 Labs LLC. Questions can be sent to hello@wotw.dev.
